One definition of sustainable development is that it is development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability to meet the needs of future generations . We want our children to lead a happy and fulfilling life. The concept of sustainable development is built on 3 pillars, namely environmental, social and economic. And we honor you all to the utmost. Since our consumer society is rather slowly moving to the concept of sustainability, our approach cannot do without clear communication to all guests at events where our family business provides catering. Both from our side and from their organizers. What exactly are we trying to achieve?

    Respect, relationships, communication

    Just like to nature , the social level is also very important to us. We care about our employees, suppliers, customers and the local community. We know that we cannot do without them and their satisfaction. That is why we treat everyone fairly and strive to build long-term relationships with open communication, both with customers, employees and suppliers .

    Support for local producers

    From the very beginning, our vision has been to source as many raw materials as possible from local growers and producers, and we continue to do so. In this way, we manage to shorten our supply chains more and more and reduce the volume of transport . We like to support the local economy. We meet producers and farmers . This is exactly the approach we want to support and develop within our catering.

    The pursuit of sustainability is also reflected in shopping, which means that you will not find us in chains!

    Own crops and also products

    In our headquarters in Orlík nad Vltavou , we also cook on wood (Czech, of course, from the surrounding forests) in the stove. And in the outdoor kitchen you can meet us behind the grill of the Czech brand Vulcanus or at the smokehouse, where we prepare delicious smoked trout, various meats and vegetables from local farmers. In addition to these, we also make dried fruit mixes and various types of delicious jams as our own products.

    In addition, even after moving to Orlík, we are going to plant our own plants , with which we will then season, enrich and diversify our culinary art.

    Sustainability at our events

    On the concept of sustainable events, which we are constantly improving, the most important thing for their success is communication and understanding of the entire concept by all participants. The main goal is therefore an event without plastics, with minimal waste and maximum taste from ingredients from local suppliers .

    We encourage guests not to throw anything away and to take home what they don't eat. They use ecologically degradable boxes for this at events. In addition, we encourage all participants not to waste dishes unnecessarily. It is also possible to bring, for example, your own cup, which the guest uses throughout the event. Sorting any waste is, as usual, a matter of course.
