Five years ago, Petra decided to fundamentally change her life. She left her managerial chair in a large telecommunications company and took the first step to fulfill her dream. Later she founded Foodin Catering with her husband, but she did not want to be one of the most impersonal catering companies. She just wanted to do it differently and add value to her service: unconventional catering of local ingredients and products with a personal story of each supplier. In three years, it has managed to build a company from scratch as a renowned brand, which is today sought after for its original catering concept with great taste delights as well as experiences.
Catering as a way to get to know local suppliers
It is the emphasis on food locality that is crucial for Foodin. It distinguishes them from other catering companies buying ingredients from major suppliers, hypermarkets and resellers. Petra carefully selects and purchases all raw materials and products directly from small Czech farmers, growers and small producers. We are constantly trying to find new and new suppliers to make sure it offers its clients the best of the location. Personal contact with local producers allows her to suck up their story, which she then passes on to her clients during the catering service itself.
From farmers to clients
Despite the initial difficulties that have been caused by the time-consuming discovery and selection of the best suppliers of meat, vegetables, fruit and other products needed to prepare local catering, but also by seeking a clientele that understands and appreciates the innovative approach, such large and significant clients as Microsoft, Ikea, Hewlett Packard, LMC, Tchibo, Ceska Sporitelna and many others. By ordering catering at Foodin, the client not only gets quality snacks, but also a great feeling that his choice supports Czech production.
Catering with home atmosphere
Foodin Catering prepares its service with regard to the most homely atmosphere. We offer homemade cow, sheep, goat cheeses, veal, lamb, beef, turkey and pork from small breeders, as well as fresh and pickled vegetables, a wide range of homemade pesto, marmalades, dressings, homemade sauces and many other own products. Everything is served in the style of La Provence and design dishes from Czech artists. The vast majority of meals are prepared in organic quality, as well as vegetarians and vegans. Petra tries to be as flexible as possible with her team for her customers, so she prepares catering virtually anywhere. The menu itself can then be adjusted accordingly. Everything depends on the client's wishes.
Personal approach is very important for Petra, not only in cooperation with suppliers, but also clients. On the basis of a personal meeting, they will prepare catering in a way that best suits the client's idea, but always using local sources with the story.
